was born December 8, 1982 in Mesa, AZ. He was mostly known as Sammy. His parents are Jennifer Ann & Lafaele A’etonu. Sammy was the eldest of eight. Steven A’etonu, Michelle Johnson, Stuart A’etonu, Rheannon Wolfgramm, Russell A’etonu, Bryce Wolfgramm, and Chance A’etonu. When he was younger his family moved to Texas where he was raised and graduated the year of 2001 from Clear Brook High School in Friendswood, Texas. In the summer of 2007, Sammy moved back to Mesa, AZ where he met the love of his life, Shannon Uinise Salakaia.

They were married & sealed for time and all eternity in the Mesa, AZ Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on October 25th, 2008. Sammy’s in-laws loved him like their own.

Sammy was a resident of Chandler, AZ. With his wife, they had 5 children. Daughter -Raeannon Jennifer Meleane (age 10),

Daughter- Seilala Pioa Tesimale (age 8), Son- Samuela Lafaele Sapoi (age 7), Son- Siosaia Salakaia Fulivai (age 5), and

Son – Steven Kemoeatu Keleti (age 2).

Sammy loved his family so much. He would often talk about his relationships with his parents & siblings. Even though they lived far apart, Sammy called them often. He wanted them to know how much he loved them, especially his Mom. Sammy spent his last days surrounded by his most

treasured possession – his family. He was loved and adored by so many, especially by his wife & children. Unfortunately, Sammy contracted Covid and passed away on August 9th, 2021 in Chandler, AZ . He leaves behind his parents, siblings, wife, & children. Sammy will forever be remembered and his legacy will continue to live on with his family.
