Sal Terranova

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts to announce the passing of Sal Terranova, 62, of Chandler Arizona on Dec 24, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Mary .  three sons ; Eddie, Sal and Steven.

Sal was born in Staten Island and lived in  the Poconos before he relocated to Arizona to go into the family pizza business.  He later started his own very successful food truck business “Sal’s Patty Wagon”

Sal was a man who needed very little in order to live a happy, and glowing life. He truly dedicated his entire life to his wife, sons, and grandkids. You would catch him at the bar singing “Hit me baby one more time” by Britney Spears, or you’d catch him over at the pool table sinking the 8 against anyone he played. You would see him walk into any room with a giant smile on his face, and his fist in the air. He loved serving up his amazing sandwiches on his Patty Wagon, making hundreds of people smile. Every person who met Sal, realized they were meeting a one of a kind man. So selfless, loving, honest, and full of so much love. Sal will be an extremely missed man, but we will continue to make these amazing memories for him. He loved everyone, he loved making people smile and being the life of the party.

Memorial service will be held at Bueler Mortuary in Chandler on Jan 14 at 5:00 PM

Sal was a remarkable man!! He had the warmest spirit about him, when he smiled it reached all the way to his eyes and they sparkled. Almost like he was letting you in on a secret joke. We had many gatherings for our grandchildren over the years, and he would bound in overjoyed to celebrate with them. They knew they were loved!!! We will all keep his memory alive for them in the years to come with stories and pictures. He will be greatly missed.

My soul hurts. “Sally boy” is my brother, my soul brother. We grew up in each other’s house. We lived life together and we grew together. We are each other’s Best Man. I Love him with all my being. We were always happy in each other’s company. I know he loves me like I love him, unconditionally.
I have too many wonderful happy stories to tell about how great and extraordinary Sal was, but every single person he met also has these stories., Everyone that was blessed to know him has their own Sal Terranova stories, and can attest to his sincere love for life, his friendship, and his laughter. Sal made us all laugh for sure. I think he made us laugh because he wanted us to be happy. Happy like he was. My life would not be as happy as it has been without my brother Sal. I will miss being that happy but I am a better man, and a much more thankful happy man for being able to share my life with one of the greatest human beings that God created. Thank you Sally boy, I love you forever.

We will miss Sal, his generosity and his HUGE SMILE!! I’ll never forget the time Sal showed up to our house with a homemade Red Sox theme birthday cake (a New Yorker bringing a Bostonian a Red Sox cake is a huge deal but Sal was more than happy to do it). Such a great guy!
