On the evening of July 7, 2020, Raymond Leroy Yazzie passed away at the age of 51.
Leroy was born in 1968, in San Francisco, CA to Raymond and Carmen Yazzie. In 1982, Ray and Carmen relocated their family to Chandler AZ, which has been home to Leroy ever since. Leroy attended Chandler Jr High School and Chandler High School, graduating in 1986. Leroy, a lifelong bachelor, was an amazing doggie dad to his beloved rottweiler Grizzly, and most recently, the infamous Taco.
Outside of work, Leroy enjoyed going to the gym for a good workout, hanging out poolside, working on house projects, stopping by mom and dads house, but most of all, Leroy loved to hang out with his friends; his second family.
Leroy, the baby of the family, is survived by his parents, Raymond and Carmen, brothers, Al and Ken, sister, Pat, nephew Marcus, nieces, Tashena and Tawni, great-nephew, Tyee, great-nieces, Deyoni and Daelynn, work brother, Jamie Nelson, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from maternal and paternal sides of the family.
A viewing will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Bueler Chandler Mortuary. 6:00 – 6:30pm will be for immediate family and 6:30 – 8:00pm will be open to his second family/friends.
