He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Diana Theros; his brother, James S. Theros; and his grandson, Dimitrios Theros. Bill was a proud first-generation Greek-American, deeply committed to his heritage, faith, and family.

Bill was a graduate of Mechanic Arts High School. He served in the United States Navy as a mechanical draftsman in the submarine service, stationed in New London, Connecticut. After his military service, he worked for Sperry Corporation for 35 years, where he was credited as one of two inventors on a patent and later became a supervisor in the design engineering department.

A devoted member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Bill participated in every aspect of church life. He continued his service to the church in Arizona at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church.

Bill was also an active member of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA), an organization that promotes Greek culture, education, philanthropy, and civic responsibility. Additionally, he was a 50-year member and past commander of American Legion Post 129.

Beyond his civic contributions, Bill enjoyed participating in a bowling league and playing golf with friends. His hobbies included photography, woodworking, and gardening. He was known for his honor, gentle nature, subtle humor, and, above all, his love and dedication to his family and friends.

Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years, Louise; children, Stephanie White (Gary) and James Theros (Concetta); grandchildren, Katrina White, Sofia Theros, Jason White (Jennifer), and Weston White (Chelsea); great-grandchildren, Alexis and Ian White; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
