Vivian Venezia (Martin)

Vivian Venezia (Martin) of Scottsdale, AZ (formerly Lee’s Summit, MO) passed away Friday, August 18th, 2023 at the age of 99.  She was a graduate of Paseo High School in Kansas City, MO in 1942.  Vivian worked at H&R Block, and she was also in jewelry sales at Zales Jewelers, and a seamstress in the family business, Venezia Interiors, for many years.  Her favorite occupation though, was as a wife, mother, and grandmother.  After her retirement she loved to travel, play bingo, visit casinos, and she was an active community volunteer. She was a member of Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church for over 50 years.  Vivian moved to Scottsdale in 2022 and she loved being near her family for the many birthdays, holidays, and family gatherings in Arizona. She made lots of new friends and created so many special memories in Arizona too.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Josephine Martin, and her husband of 64 years, Peter Venezia.  She is survived by her daughter, Linda Venezia McGrath and her husband Dan and grandsons Chris (Amanda) and Jordan (Jen) and great grandchildren Shep, Dakota, and Mason. She is also survived by her son, Ed Venezia and his wife Maureen and grandson Dave (Cathy) and great grandchildren Sophie and Josie.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225.
