Victoria Lee Troxtel

October 4, 1953 — August 5, 2024

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Victoria L. Troxtel. Born on October 4, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Robert and Betty Peck. Victoria peacefully passed away on August 5, 2024, in her home in Chandler, Arizona.

Victoria was the embodiment of unconditional love and touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She lived a life filled with courage, compassion, kindness, and an abundance of love. She had a way of lighting up every room with her warm hugs, beautiful smile, laughter, and her affectionate "sugars." She found joy and serenity in the calmness of the beach and carried an unmatched energy wherever she went. In mom’s early life she was a cheerleader, a homecoming queen and had a love for dancing. She enjoyed working in the medical field and working with patients and had a passion to one day become a midwife and or a doula.

She adored her children, grandchildren, and siblings, nieces and nephews and her many friends. She cherished the memory of her late husband, Gary Troxtel, who was her anchor and soulmate. A selfless and generous and brave soul, Victoria always put others before herself and found great joy and peace in doing so.

Victoria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Troxtel. She is survived by her cherished daughters, Courtney Justus, Brittany Ortiz, and Kendra Holman; her son, Jeremy Sidwell; her brother, David Peck; her sister, Dawn Gallagher; her 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; her many nieces and nephews and her treasured dogs, Addie and Diesel.

Victoria was truly loved and adored by many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
