Sylvia Mora Cardenas

Sylvia Mora Cardenas, 64, of Chander, Arizona, passed away peacefully in her home on March 9, 2025. 

Sylvia was born on October 12, 1960, to the late Mateo and Candelaria Mora in Sandy, Utah. She was a loving wife to James Cardenas, proud mother to Jaime Matthew Cardenas, Sarah Garza, Consuelo Cardenas, Cindy Salgado, a beloved Grandmother to 13 and Great Grandmother of 8. 

Sylvia is survived by husband James, son Jaime Matthew, daughters Sarah, Consuelo, Cindy, brothers Rodger, Larry, Leo, Luis, Lorenzo, and sisters Norma, Connie, Dora, Stella, Gloria, Olivia, Delia, Linda and Maria. 

Sylvia spent her life as a Homemaker, Caretaker but most of all a family woman with a strong faith in Jesus. 

Services for Sylvia will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, with a Visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary Chapel, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225.
