, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Mary Sawicky. Stephen is survived by his wife Marie LaVista, his children Amy Dame (Brandon), Sharon Yates (James) and Stephen Jr. He also leaves behind a sister Vera Locker, brother Peter and 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. He was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and spent the last two decades in Payson and then Show Low. Stephen was an avid hunter and had a passion for fishing. He left us too soon. He will be missed by his wife, family, friends and loved by all. No services planned at this time.
