Sheila Basilo Penrod

On Friday, June 12, 2020 Sheila Basilo Penrod, loving mother, sister and Nonna, passed away at age 73.

Sheila was born Feb. 7, 1947 in Rome, Italy to Alda and Louis Basilo. She had degrees in many fields: law, English, education, counseling, and mediation. She was an artist, musician, and singer.

Sheila was a vibrant, fierce and loyal red head. She fought for the little guy and stood up for what she believed in. She touched the hearts of everyone around her and impacted the lives of many. She created her own beat and lived by the music in her heart. She had a unique and shining personality. She took in the misfits and built up the people around her.

She was proceeded in death by her father and mother, Louis and Alda, and nephew, Anthony. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Alda and Jonathan, grandchildren, Ivan and Ruthanne, brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Linda, and niece, Rachel and Harlow.

She will always be remembered and carried in our hearts. Her voice and music will forever be heard.
