Sallie A. Gilbert

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sallie A. Gilbert at age 89, on December 29, 2023 in Chandler, Arizona. Sallie was born in Chandler on November 22, 1934 to Manuel and Josephina Arambula. 

She was raised in Chandler, attended St Mary and Chandler High School.  Retired Bailiff for the Juvenile Courts, she enjoyed tennis, reading and animals. 

She is survived by two sisters, Josie and Dolores Arambula; her children, Robbin, Herb Jr and Pebbles; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Manuel, Leo, David, Robert, Charlie; sisters, Nillie and Olivia; her son Edward Spore and great granddaughter Emily Zane.  

A Visitation will be held for family and friends at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 E. Hulet Dr., Chandler, AZ 85225 on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 6pm until 8pm.  A Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary followed by Interment at Resthaven Park East Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85042.
