Pasqua "Lina" Pino

On Wednesday, August 14, 2024, Pasqua “Lina” Pino passed away peacefully in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 85. Born on April 16, 1939, in Caronia (Sicily), Italy, she was the eldest of five sisters: Enza, Angelina (deceased), Regina, and Pina. Lina was the beloved daughter of Antonino Bodanza and Vincenza Liuzzo.

In 1960, she married her loving husband, John, and together they embarked on a new journey in Cleveland, Ohio, where they proudly raised their four children. During this time, Lina became a U.S. citizen, a moment of great pride for her. In 1981, the family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, where Lina dedicated over 21 years working as a seamstress in the family-owned dry-cleaning business.

Lina leaves behind her devoted husband of 64 years, John, her cherished children, Josephine, Sebastian (Kathy), Enza, and Anthony, 5 grandchildren and precious others joining into the family.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 AM at:

A reception will immediately follow on-site at the Parish Center.

A private burial for the immediate family will take place afterward.
