Pamela J. Guss

, 69 of Chandler, Arizona went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 5, 2021. Pam is survived by her husband of 35 years, Kyle, and her two sons Jimmy Upshaw and Danny Mac Upshaw.

She is also survived by her two brothers Rodney Fleeman and Danny Fleeman, Mother-in-Law Mary Guss, and several nieces and nephews.

Pam was preceded in death by her mother Sally Kiefer, her dad George Kiefer, and her biological father, Joe Fleeman.

Pam was born in Compton, California on April 20, 1951.

She grew up in Southern California and graduated from David Starr Jordan High School in Long Beach, California in 1969.

Pam moved to Arizona in 1972 with her first husband James Rockland Upshaw and their two young sons. Tragically, her husband James (Rocky) was killed in an industrial accident in 1975.

Pam met her husband Kyle in 1983 and they were married in 1986 and they lived in Tempe and Chandler until Pam’s passing.

Pam worked at Cigna Healthcare for twenty-five years as a surgery scheduler and she retired in 2014.

Pam was an encourager, was always happy and upbeat, and was always willing to help anyone that she could.

She was a bright light in a dark world.
