, 85, of Chandler, AZ (formerly of Scottsdale & Mesa), passed away at Chandler Regional Hospital peacefully surrounded by her family on September 7, 2019. She was born in Anchor, IL on May 31, 1934 to George and Hazel Schleeter and married Wendell P. Griffin in 1954 and settled in Arizona in 1960. Norma had a career of 20 years at Motorola, retiring in 1992.
Grateful for having shared in her life are her three children, Brian, Bruce (Annette), Jill Bloom (John); grandson Brett Griffin (Kristi), great grandson Dylan of Mesa; grandson Kyle Griffin (Ashley) of Caldwell, Idaho, along with her sister-in-law, various nieces, nephews and cousins throughout Illinois, California, Georgia and Texas.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband and brothers Robert and Richard Schleeter.
Norma loved watching the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball games whether in person or on television. Norma was a friend to many.
