Mark John Huggett, born on October 21, 1964 in Flint, MI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 18, 2024, in Gilbert, AZ. He was a devoted father to his 3 children and a loving companion to his dog, Belle.
Mark had a varied career, beginning as a pilot before transitioning to a sales representative and, more recently, a truck driver. His greatest achievement was becoming a captain pilot for Southwest Airlines. Known for his hard work and dedication, he made a lasting impression in every role he held. Mark loved to have fun either through teasing and cracking jokes, riding motorcycles and dirt bikes, shooting guns, or enjoying a good dessert especially his grandma’s Banana Split Dessert.
As a nondenominational Christian, Mark lived by the motto, “It’s all about Jesus.” His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and relationships. Mark’s genuine love for his family and unwavering commitment to his beliefs defined his character and the legacy he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Mark Huggett is survived by his children Tristin (Jace) Taylor, Terra Huggett, and Boaz Huggett, and was a proud grandfather to Ruby Sue Taylor, Andi Taylor, Kyler Remington, and Cora Taylor. Mark was preceded in death by his parents Margaret Ann Tuma (Huggett) and John Keith Huggett. Mark had no siblings
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,1520 S. Catalina Street, Gilbert, AZ 85296.
