Marjorie B. Geiger
was born in Berthold, North Dakota on February 18, 1926 to parents William Hennessy and Cecelia Nagle. She was the eighth of nine children. She married her husband, John Allen Geiger, on November 6, 1945 and had 5 children Eugene, Stanley, Jerrold, Marcus and Cecelia. Marjorie and John moved to Chandler, Arizona in 1967 where Marjorie worked for Valley National Bank and retired as an Assistant Manager of Bank One in 1987. She moved to Mesa where she lived until her passing. Marjorie was a devoted wife, mother and great-great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.
Marjorie is survived by her brother Richard, her children Jerrold, Stanley and Cecelia, 8 grandchildren David, Angie, John, Bridget, Jerry Jr, David, Shelby and Haley, her 16 great-grandchildren Hudson, Harding, Drake, Deacon, Parker, Taylor, Nolan, Colleen, Cody, Rebecca, David, Dominic, Leonydis, Gage, Gaven, and Bella. 7 great-great-grandchildren Demarco, Lilliana, Roxanne, John III, Isabella, Cecelia, Neveah. She is predeceased by her husband John, her sons Gene and Mark and Mark’s wife Charlene, her sisters Helen and Rosalie and her brothers Ronald, Harry, Clem, Jack and Raphael.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11am on July 1, 2021 at St Mary’s Catholic Church 230 W Galveston St, Chandler, AZ 85225. Flowers and condolences may be offered to 1260 S Lindsay Road #1, Mesa, AZ 85204.
