On December 6, 2022, the Lord called our sister Marion Marie Cardinal home. Born on June 21, 1961, in Marshall, Michigan, she was the 2
nd
daughter born to Francis and Barbara (Watson) Cardinal. In 1979, she graduated from Olivet High School in Olivet, MI, and moved to Arizona in 1982. Graduated community college with AA degree in Childcare, which she did for over 40 years.
A very loving, kind, and fun person, she loved to chat with anyone she met. Spending time with family gave her the most joyous moments in her life. She loved showing her creative side by crafting, crocheting, and making special cards for family and friends, along with baking, traveling and going to Disneyland. For relaxation she played video games and read James Patterson books.
She is survived by sisters: Barbara Cardinal of Chandler, AZ, Dena (Will) Kurtz of Miles City, MT; nephews: Jeremy (Cheryl) Cardinal of Maricopa, AZ, Christopher Cardinal of Billings, MT, Will Kurtz Jr of Miles City, MT.; nieces: April (Chris) Carpenter of Gilbert, AZ and Brandie Kurtz of Miles City, MT; several grand nephews and nieces and extended family members.
Preceded in death by her parents, oldest sister Vicki Pennington, brother-in-law Rodney Pennington, niece Anna Pennington, and grandnephew Jayden Andrew Gregg-Pennington.
As per her request cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life will be held this summer in Arizona.
