, passed away at age 76 on Saturday January 5, 2019 in Norwalk, California, she was surrounded by her family and friends with love and faith.  She was born on August 5, 1942 in Higley, Arizona to Severo and Margaret Contreras and she was the oldest of 3 girls.  Margaret attended St. Mary’s Catholic School from where she graduated the 8

Grade.  At the age of 14, she began working with the St. Mary’s Nuns; she became a cook and keeper for them all.  She worked with Nuns for 3 years, she was even thinking of becoming a Nun. That was up until she met the love of her life, Joe Jess Rosales of Gilbert, Arizona.  Together they had five children, Christina, Joe Jr., Roxanne, Mercedes and David, her only job in which she loved until her final days, was being a loving nurturing mother and raising her kids. Margaret is survived by her 5 Children, 13 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 2 sisters (Josie and Ellie) and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 18, 2019 at 8:30 am at Bueler Chandler Mortuary and Chapel 14 W. Hulet Dr. Chandler, Arizona, followed by a Mass at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 230 W. Galveston St. Chandler, Arizona and her final resting place will be at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd. Chandler, Arizona.
