Lauren DeCarlo Ingersoll

Lauren DeCarlo Ingersoll peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024 after a valiant battle with cancer, surrounded by her husband, five children, and nine grandchildren.

Lauren loved the simple things in life: waking up to songbirds singing their morning tune (or late morning tune as no one would accuse her of being a morning person); the sound of waves softly crashing against rock; a nice, home-cooked meal. But she loved nothing more than her children and grandchildren. Always a source of encouragement and unconditional love, her affection for her progeny has created an everlasting memory of joy and warmth across generations.

She is survived by her husband, William Ingersoll, and her five children along with their spouses: Jennifer and Jordan Herrington, Katharine and Adam Martinez, Megan and Eric Geib, Nina and Derek Beck, and Ryan Cummings. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren: Declan, Liam, Everett, Jacob, Nathan, Emilia, Madeline, Owen, and Sophia. Additionally, she is survived by her father, Richard DeCarlo and his wife Paula LaBellarti, her brother Glenn Farrell, her brother Richard Dale and wife Barbara Dale, and her sister Deborah Dale.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Lauren in Albuquerque, NM on September 8, 2024 at Tanoan Country Club, 10801 Academy Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111 from 2pm – 5pm. Refreshments will be served.

In lieu of flowers, Lauren wished for people to donate to a lab at Stanford University's Medical School which is leading research on early cancer detection.
