Kristopher Jacob Yanez

Kristopher Jacob Yanez, beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 26. Born on January 31, 1998, Kristopher spent his life in Mesa, Arizona, where he brought energy, humor, and warmth to all who knew him. 

Raised by his mother, Gloria Reyes, and stepfather, Freddie Reyes, along with his father, Jacob Yanez, Kristopher grew up surrounded by love and the enduring support of his family. He shared a close bond with his sisters, Desirae Patino and Kristine Yanez, who cherished his mischievous sense of humor and kind heart. 

Kristopher was a hard worker who thrived in hands-on roles, particularly in forklifting and warehouse work. He loved meeting new people and took pride in his work, always giving his best effort. When not working, he could often be found passionately tinkering with his truck or car, making sure it was not only the fastest but also the loudest on the road. Friends and neighbors could always count on the distinctive rumble of his bass system to announce his arrival long before he pulled into view. Above all, Kristopher was a devoted father to his son, Kristopher Yanez Jr., who was his pride and joy. His legacy lives on in his family, who will continue to honor his memory and celebrate the love he brought into their lives. 

Kristopher is survived by his son, Kristopher Yanez Jr. (age 8); his parents, Gloria & Freddie Reyes and Jacob Yanez; his grandparents, Beatrice Rodriguez and Carmen Coronado; his sisters, Desirae Patino and Kristine Yanez; and his nephews, Israel and Xavier Patino and Elijah Nunnery. He also leaves behind many uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

A Visitation will be held for Kristopher at 10:00 AM on December 27, 2024 at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 West Hulet Drive Chandler, AZ 85225, with a Funeral Service starting at 11:00 AM. The burial will take place directly after the service at Queen Of Heaven Cemetery, 1562 East Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ 85204.
