Mark Cronin

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of John Mark Cronin, affectionately known as Mark, who passed on November 12, 2023 at the age of 70 in Chandler, AZ. Mark was born on June 25, 1953, to Loretta and Charles Cronin Jr. in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Mark is survived by his sister, Kathy Gastan, while brothers Michael and Charles Cronin III, and his parents have preceded him in death. Mark graduated from Baldwin High School in 1971 and went on to build a life filled with love and family.

On December 20, 1980, Mark married the love of his life, Kathy Flynn. Together, they raised a beautiful family, including two devoted daughters, Brittany Chamberlain and Lauren Brumley. His love extended to his granddaughters, creating a legacy of warmth and affection.

Mark's adventurous spirit led him to obtain his pilot's license, and he took great joy in flying small airplanes around Chandler, especially when his children were young. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and watching their joy-filled moments.

A sports enthusiast, Mark enjoyed cheering for both the Steelers and the Diamondbacks, finding joy in the victories and camaraderie of the games.

A Celebration of Mark's life will take place on December 3, 2023, with details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests considering a donation to cancer research.
