Jennie Lee

JennieLee passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2024 in Gilbert, Arizona.

JennieLee was born Jennie Robinson, daughter of Leland Claude Robinson and Elinor Victoria Spencer. JennieLee was preceded in death by her siblings, Minnie, Leland, Eldon, Fahy, and David. She was born in Colonia Dublan, Chihuahua, Mexico on November 24, 1925.  

JennieLee grew up in Colonia Dublan until the age of 15 in which she moved to El Paso, Texas with her family. She attended BYU when she was 18 years old. At 23 she was called on a Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Mexico from 1949-51. 

JennieLee was married to Merrill James Langford on October 23, 1952 in the LDS Mesa, Arizona Temple. They were married for 25 years and had 7 children together. She is preceded in death by her sons Merrill James Langford, Jr and William Scott Langford. She is survived by her son Mark Langford, and her daughters Janette Freeman, Linda (Joe) Hebert, Jennie Langford, and Minnie (Bob) Lawrence. She has 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. 

JennieLee was a cheerful and loving mother with a beautiful singing voice. Not only did she have the voice of an angel, but she could play many musical instruments like the piano, organ, autoharp, and bowed psaltery. She was always happy to share her love of music. JennieLee was an avid spiritual seeker. She was a blessing to all who knew her. She will truly be missed. 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on June 29, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225.
