James Dean Louderback, known affectionately as "Friendly Jim," passed away on April 11, 2024 in Chandler, Arizona, at the age of 81. Born on June 21, 1942, in Topeka, Kansas, Jim led a life defined by his warmth, authenticity, and love for those around him.
On November 15, 1969, Jim married Anne Louderback, and together they raised four boys: Jeff, Brian, Dennis, and Eric. Their family expanded with the joy of nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Jim's genuine nature endeared him to everyone he met, earning him the moniker "Friendly Jim." He possessed a remarkable ability to forge connections, whether with the local butcher or fellow fisherman at the urban lake. Jim found joy in the great outdoors, often indulging in fishing, hunting, camping, and golfing. His passion for sports extended beyond being just a fan; he enthusiastically supported his favorite teams and actively coached his sons. As he shared his love for these outdoor activities it created many cherished memories with family and friends alike.
In honoring Jim's life, his family has opted for cremation services at the Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary in Chandler. Jim's passing leaves behind a lasting legacy of kindness, compassion, and generosity.
