Ion Hirsieru

Ion “Nelu” Hirsieru, age 73, of Canton, OH and recently Chandler, AZ passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Bucharest, Romania on April 14, 1952. Nelu was a devoted husband and loving father. He lived his life and had no regrets. Patient, kind, and was never scared to take on new opportunities in life. He had very strong values and did everything with honesty and integrity.

Nelu is survived by his wife Melaniea; daughters Catalina and Georgiana; grandchildren Nickolas and Amelia; and son-n-law Matthew.

A Private Service will be held at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary on Thursday, April 10th. After cremation his loving wife will fly his remains to Romania and celebrate his life with family, planning for his final resting place.
