Howard Earnest Ward

Howard Earnest Ward, passed away on December 21, 2024, he is survived by his 3 children, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. 

Howard was Born August 20, 1931, to Reginald (Rex) Ward and Emma Lash Ward, in Jamestown, New York. His family later moved to Olean, New York in 1935. He went to Olean schools and Graduated in 1951.

 He served in the United States Army in the Korean War. When he came home after the war he Married Beverly Crocker on September 4, 1954, who passed December 18, 2006. They had 3 of their 4 children in Olean, New York and later moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1959, where they had their 4th child. While Howard lived in Olean he worked for Clark Brothers until 1959. Then in Tucson he worked for Hughes AIRCraft until 1960 when he was laid-off. So Howard and his family moved to Phoenix, Arizona where Howard went to work for Airsearch from 1960 until 1991.  

Howard was a loving husband, a father, a Veteran, Grandfather, Great-Father, but he was also an active member of the Masons and the Scottish Rite. He has touched many hearts and so many lives. He will be greatly missed. 

Services will be held on Saturday January 4th, 2025 at 12 PM at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary 14 West Hulet Drive, Chandler, Arizona 85225. With a graveside service to follow at Green Acres Cemetery 401 Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to charities close to his heart; the Shriners Hospital or the Special Olympics.
