Edward Joseph Farrow

August 3, 1955 — January 10, 2025

Edward was born in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and passed peacefully at Chandler Memorial Hospital in Chandler, Arizona. He is survived by his three sons, Christopher, Eric, and Scott; his grandson Logan; his sisters Evelyn, Theresa, Helen, Joan and Tina; his brothers Steve, Charlie, Sam, and Rob; and countless nieces, nephews and their own children. Edward was preceded in death by his parents John and Veronica Farrow.

Edward was a highly skilled installation and service technician for Steel Fabrication machinery. Having worked for both Mubea and Peddinghaus corporations, Edward was able to travel all over the continental United States and numerous international locations including China, Mexico and most of Europe. As part of his travels, Edward was able to see sites that many people could only dream of. Being an outgoing and generous person, Edward easily made friends and connections wherever he went. He often commented his favorite part of travel was the people he met and loved to share stories of his adventures.

When he wasn't travelling for work, Edward loved spending time with his three sons. He would take them camping, fishing, and boating as often as he could. He shared with them his love of Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Philadelphia Eagles, of whom he was a passionate fan. He also loved sharing music and performances of groups he enjoyed, particularly The Band, Jimmy Buffet, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Edward was an amazing father and friend to his children, always ready to listen and support them whenever they needed it.

His happy place was a small town on the Chesapeake Bay; Rock Hall, MD. A town small enough that he would often remark while driving down Main Street, "if you blinked, you would miss it." He enjoyed that time seemed to slow dramatically there, the noise of the outside world would fade away, and he could embrace his family and friends fully, making wonderful memories. His love for Rock Hall started in his own childhood as his father would take him and his family there to spend time on their family boat "The Penguin". Years later, Edward returned to Rock Hall for summers starting with a camping trailer right on the beach and eventually obtaining his own boat which he named after his father.

In his later years, Edward moved in with his son Christopher and his grandson Logan. Edward adored Logan and cherished every second he was able to spend with him. He loved talking with Logan about their shared passion for sports, making him his famous breakfasts, and sneaking him candy whenever he thought no one was looking. He enjoyed attending Logan's baseball and soccer games, leading to one of his favorite nicknames for him, "Superstar". He was so proud of Logan, he would share stories about him with anyone and everyone he talked to.

Edward also loved spending time with and spoiling his children's and grandchild's dogs, Mac, Lunar and Otto. They never failed to bring a smile to his face and would often follow him around wherever he went.

Edward's final years were spent in the town of Prescott, AZ. As an avid western and John Wayne fan, Edward was able to see in person many of the sites from his favorite movies and experience the West in person. He was thrilled to take pictures of those places and learn local stories about them, which he would revel in sharing with his family and friends.

Edward will be remembered by his family and friends as a generous, loving, selfless, and strong man who always brought a smile to their face.
