Earnestine Rhodes Johnson was born in Eagles Mills, Arkansas to Fred and Thelma Rhodes on June 26, 1945.
Earnestine is preceded in death by her parents Fred Rhodes Sr. and Thelma Pace Rhodes; her brothers James, John, Larry, and Timothy; her sister Margaret Faye, and her beloved daughter June Nanzetta Rhodes.
Earnestine accepted Christ at an early age. She graduated from Lincoln High School and worked at Douglas County Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska where she retired. She moved to Arizona after her retirement to be with her daughter June.
Earnestine departed this life on April 9, 2024 leaving behind her son Corey Alexander Rhodes; her grandchildren Kalisha Rhodes, Elizabeth Ann Mason, Milton “Josh” Phillips, Brenna Whitfield, Corey Rhodes Wright, and Corrine Rhodes Wright; her great grandchildren Somaya Holt, Jailani Phillips, Xiomara Rodriguez, and Jahaan Mason; her brother Fred “Bill” Rhodes Jr. and her sisters Vanessa, Winifred, Edna, and Vicki.
Special Loved Ones and Friends are Anita Flowers, Rhonda Hughes, Demetria Hamilton, Patricia Bradshaw, Sedell Wells, Jackie McCalvin, Sadia Patterson, Eric and Helen Rosin, Bridget Huskey, Connie Reynolds, Terrence McEachin, Calvin and Domique Walker, and Jackie Overton.
