A MESSAGE FROM DOROTHY RUTH NILSON YOUNG

Let the celebration begin!!! It marks the end of a long and satisfying life in our world at this time in history. I am grateful to all my family and friends for the love and devotion that has been shown to me, I don’t have adequate words to describe how much you have meant to me over these years. My prayers for all you are that you will experience the blessings of God and guidance of the Holy Spirit as I have in mine. God has also blessed me with the gift of writing and the ability to use it well into old age. I hope He is pleased with my efforts. Another blessing has been to have been born in the United States of America where I was able to express my thoughts and opinions through my writing, and to help keep alive the hard-won freedoms we enjoy. My journal entries from the Bible study class each week has also been such a joy and satisfaction to me. My time on this earth started at the end of the horse and buggy days and the beginning of the automobile era to a man on the moon. It has been a privilege to see some of the amazing advances in communication technology, travel, medicine and many other things beyond my comprehension. These are gifts from God to be used wisely and with gratitude. A free people can accomplish so much for the betterment of all. I now must travel on without family and friends, but I will not be alone. Jesus will have my hand and will be guiding me home to be with saints that have gone before me. None of us are permanent residents of this world, and when it is your turn to make this journey, I will be waiting for you with open arms and a “welcome home”, good and faithful servant. What a joyful reunion that will be – nor more tears or sadness.

My love to all of you.

Dorothy
