Doris M. Epps

Doris May Epps (Baird)

passed away on November 16th, 2017 in Sun Lakes, AZ at the age of 86.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jack and children, Dianne and her husband Art in Indianapolis and John who recently moved to Phoenix. Doris was also adored by her two grandsons Kit and Blake who reside in San Diego. She has two younger sisters Sarah Ann Hindman and Barbara Bunch.

Doris was born May 9, 1931, in Albia, Iowa. She will be remembered as a kind and loving spirit and for her generosity to others. After she and Jack retired to Sun Lakes in 1993, she became an author, entertaining her grandsons with tales of growing up in the Midwest during the depression and war. She published several books, including those biographies as well as poetry.
