Dorel Cioara

Dorel Cioara, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather & brother, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2024, at the age of 68 after a prolonged illness. His family finds comfort in knowing that he is now in the loving embrace of his Heavenly Father.

Dorel is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Ginger. Their marriage was a testament to their faith in God and their commitment to each other. He is also survived by his children Jeremy (wife-Susan), Joshua & Benjamin, and his seven grandchildren. He took great pride in watching his children grow into accomplished individuals.

Dorel’s siblings Ligia McLean, Linda DeJeu & his brother John Cioara will miss his dry humor, ability to give advice on nearly any subject, spending time with him & his ability to find the best places for lunch & dinner.

Dorel's professional career was marked by his integrity and dedication to serving others. As the owner of Real Estate Brokers International, he used his skills and knowledge to help families find homes where they could build their own memories. Dorel saw his work as a way to reflect God's love and provide for his family.

Dorel was extraordinary positive – he could take any situation, no matter how heavy, and make it feel lighter, warming up any room with a charming smile and a quick joke. You couldn’t be around Dorel and remain unnoticed for long! His family had long become accustomed to being recognized as “Dorel’s family” in the strangest of places. He was always quick to jump into any situation with a helping hand, creative solutions, or a word of encouragement. On this side of heaven, we will never know how many people were touched by his kindness, joy, generous spirit, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.

Although Dorel's physical presence may no longer be with us, his spirit and faith will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, knowing that his legacy of faith and love will continue to shine brightly through the lives he touched.
