Donna Erickson Jabara

, 72, of Gilbert, Arizona passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 27, 2016 from complications arising from a brief bout with cancer.  She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1943 and graduated from Northwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science, Nursing in 1965. She loved to help people and demonstrated it by being a practicing nurse for more than 30 years.Donna married Farris “Sam” Jabara in 1968. Sam and Donna were married for 36 amazing years. Donna was preceded to heaven by the love of her life, Sam, in 2004 and much earlier by her parents Jessie and Charles Erickson. Donna and Sam had and are survived by two beautiful daughters, Lisa Jabara-May and Leslie Wrenn and her sons-in-law, Eric May and Tony Wrenn. Donna was a loving, caring, and giving wife, mother, family member, and friend to many. She always saw the best in everyone and met them with a hug, smile, or kind word. Her passions were rescuing, rehabilitating and educating others about birds of prey with Liberty Wildlife. She also enjoyed travel, reading, and above all spending time with the family and friends whom she loved so dearly. Donna was an amazing person to those that were lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed by everyone who loved her.
