Donna Ann Brown-Adeyemi
passed away on the morning of January 13, 2022. She was born on December 24, 1958, in Casa Grande, Arizona. She was 63 years old and lived a fulfilling life. She was raised in Phoenix, Arizona by Ava Stapleton and the late Lloyd Brown. Donna attended Trevor Brown High School and finished her Associates Degree in Science at Glendale Community College.
Donna worked for the State of Arizona in the Behavior Health Unit for over 25 years and cared for many people. She was a natural caregiver putting her heart into loving others and getting them involved in their community. She adored everyone that came into her life and treated them with respect and kindness. In 1988, she met the love of her life, Adewale Adeyemi, and began a beautiful chapter of her life by starting her family. She poured her heart and soul into her boys.
Donna’s favorite hobbies were to play games including Solitaire and Sudoku. She enjoyed watching movies and TV Shows including her favorite, Law & Order. Donna had a sweet tooth, and loved red hots, whoopers, ice cream, root beer floats, and dots. Donna also enjoyed going for walks and bike rides and other activities with her loved ones. She lived her life as a devoted Jehovah Witness in 1994, serving for over 28 years. During her time as one of Jehovah Witnesses, she was regular in her attendance at weekly meetings and field service activities.
She is survived by her husband Adewale Adeyemi; children Akintunde (Emily) Adeyemi and Ayodele Adeyemi; grandchildren Saige Adeyemi and two grandsons on the way; mother Ava Lee Stapleton; siblings Lloyd Brown, Floyd Brown, Boyd Brown, and Avalon Peevy.
She is proceeded in death by her father Lloyd Brown and her sister Pamela Brown.
