Daniel L. Flatt

Daniel L. Flatt, 81, of Chandler, AZ sadly passed away on November 15, 2023, after a brief battle with stomach and esophageal cancer. Dan was born in Aurora, Illinois to Henry and Edna Flatt on February 20, 1942, and was one of four sons. After attending East Aurora High School, he had a long and successful career in the printing and prepress trades.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 8 years, Eileen, as well as his children Scott (Michele) Flatt, Sherri Summers, and Stephen (Lynnette) Flatt, as well as four grandchildren and four great-

grandchildren. Dan also had two stepsons and four step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Judith Anne Flatt, son Paul David Flatt and brother Warren Flatt.

Dan loved to spend time with family and especially loved to watch his four grandsons grow and pursue their passions. He was an avid sports fan and loved his hometown Chicago Bears as well as the AZ Diamondbacks and AZ Cardinals. He was an animal lover and had many dogs whom he loved dearly.
