Age 74 passed away at home on August 19, 2023.  Cruz was surrounded by her family and loved ones.

, 1949, in Queen Creek, Arizona where she grew up and attended school.  Cruz graduated high school from Chandler High School in 1968.  She is the daughter of Maria Jesus (Trujillo) & Francisco S. Valenzuela.

She was preceded in death by her mother Maria Jesus, her father Francisco, her sister Ramona, her brothers Frank and Phillip, her niece Sandra and her nephews Daniel and Juan.

Cruz is survived by her sisters, Jessie 89 yrs. old from Phoenix, Josie 87 yrs. old from Gilbert, Armida 85 yrs. old from Queen Creek, Artemisa 79 yrs. old from Mesa and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Viewing will be held for Cruz on Monday, August 28

, 2023 from 5pm – 8pm with a Rosary being said at 7pm at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 29

, 2023, at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 20615 E. Ocotillo Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85142. Interment will follow at 12pm (Noon) at the Mesa City Cemetery, 1212 N. Center Street, Mesa, AZ 85201.
