Corrine Ann Criss

Corrine Ann Criss, 84, of Chandler, AZ passed away peacefully on February 27, 2024.  She was born January 9, 1940 in South Dakota to James & Dorothy Patten.  She arrived in Arizona in 1950 where she met and married James Hurley Criss May 2, 1959 and had four children.  They were married and shared their life together for 53 years.  She loved her family and friends wholeheartedly and was an amazing mother.  She & James throughout the years enjoyed being a part of The Knights of Columbus St. Joe's Youth Camp at Mormon Lake, AZ.   They spent over half the year hosting & working the camp making sure it ran smoothly.  She will be remembered for her love & passion for her family, friends, all things sports, the Catholic Church & so much more.  She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Marlis Ross, brothers Joseph Patten, Benard Patten & Robert Patten, her spouse James Hurley Criss & her daughter JoEllen Christine Madden.  She is survived by her son James Price Criss & daughter-in-law Karian; son John Vincent Criss, daughter-in-law Laura; son Joshua Patrick Criss, daughter-in-law Anna; her 7 grandchildren Aaron Amos, Sarah Amos, Christopher & Ashley Amos, Joshua Criss, Jordayn Criss, Bailee Criss, Hunter Criss; son-in-law Tim Madden & brother Ron Patten.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 6-8 PM with a Scripture Service starting at 7 PM at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ 85225.  The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston Street, Chandler, AZ 85225 on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 10:30AM.
