Christopher Neil Bailey passed away suddenly early this morning due to an accident while on a business trip to Manhattan, New York City. He lived in Chandler
,
Arizona with his beloved wife
,
Dawn Joy Bailey

Dore)
,
and
precious
daughter Taryn Bailey.
Chris is
a
respected and loved husband, father, son, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle and dear friend to so many.
H
e was devoted to
building a
life
of joy and memories
along with
Dawn
and
Taryn
.
D
espite
Taryn’s
complex medical needs,
he
supported
every opportunity
for her
to be a part of her community and thrive. Chris
’
extraordinary
gift was
his ability
to
be completely involved in
all
of
the
day-to-day
care
for Taryn
and support for Dawn, build a successful career,
and continue to lead
, inspire
and mentor many along the way.
Chris was a man of devo
u
t faith and a member of the Catholic church. He served as an altar boy as a youth and
later
became an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist bringing Communion to the sick and home
bound
.
Chris was very intelligent.
Upon returning to Michigan from New Jersey he attended Harrison High School in Farmington Hills
,
Michigan
,
graduating with a straight 4.0 average. He attended college at Arizona State University in Tempe
,
Arizona
,
achieving a degree in computer engineering. He later received an M.B.A. also from ASU.
Growing up he
was
very involved in sports. He excelled on the high school swim team
,
ultimately winning
most of
his races
,
and set a school record with his friends in a relay race.
He also made it to the State Finals. He was always hea
l
th conscious, and running was a passion of his. He ran primarily with best friends and earned many medals for
his
triathlons and marathons.
He was an avid sports fan and loved the Detroit Red Wings and ASU sports.
Also, while growing up, he joined the Boy Scouts and became an Eagle Scout at the early age of 15.
Chris was a great provider for his family. He was employed by ASU while attending college and remained there until joining Matson Navigation Company. He excelled there
,
twice being awarded as an Employee of the Year at a senior level. In 2019 he joined McKinsey & Company.
He was quite successful and soon earned the praise of
his
co-workers, senior management and clients
for his knowledge
, professionalism, demeanor, and ability to relate and communicate
.
Chris enjoyed camping and riding his dirt bike.

Chris was a people person. He made everybody feel good and was a great leader, provider and friend and we all are extremely proud of him. He is sorely missed, but we will always have fond memories of him
