On Tuesday, June 23, 2020, we lost a cherished member of our family. Carol Lorraine Brunshwiler, also known as Grandma, Grandmama , Mema and Great Ma. Carol passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years old. She was born September 20, 1940 in Fresno, CA. She was very close to her only sister, Nancy. Carol was admired for her feisty personality. This trait can also be found in many of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved attending church meetings and she cherished her friendships made in her Maricopa Ward. She was very crafty, she loved to make jewelry and crocheting were a few of her hobbies. Her family looked forward to her homemade dishcloths every year at Christmas time. She leaves behind a great legacy. Carol’s family meant everything to her.
She will be truly missed by her four daugthers: Teresa Baffico, Donna (Bob) Chapman, Cynthia “Cyndy” Justice, and Zanette (Brian) Jacobson.
Her 14 Grandchildren: Jenifer (Jim) Rash, Christy Jaramillo, Christin (Mike) Koozer,
James Ingram, James (Lindsay) Phelps, Daniel Chapman, Jessica (Max) Harter, Kelli Chapman, Alisha (Kyle) De Kruyf, Candace (Dallas) Duncan, Katelyn (Tony) Floyd,
Nathan (Abreya) Jacobson, Layna Justice and Kayla Gagnon.
Her 23 Great-Grandchildren: Shaina (Nathan) Ezzell, Darren (Nicole) Butler,
Patrick Butler, Lacey Rash, James Ingram, Jr., Colten Koozer, Cooper Koozer,
Treavis Jaramillo, Kyler Pryor, Jersey Molzen, Adalyn Harter, Oliver Harter, Benjamin Harter, Charlotte Floyd, Brielle Phelps, Seeley Floyd, Cora Phelps,
Carson Duncan, Kylie De Kruyf, Paisley Duncan, Kaylie De Kruyf , Declan Duncan and Harley Duncan.
Her very first great great-granddaughter is soon to make an appearance at the end of October, Kaydance Ezzell.
Carol has been reunited with her husband John “Jack” Brunshwiler, her daughter Michele (Patrick) Gagnon, her parent’s Carl Petrille and Mildred Rylee and her Sister Nancy Mula.
Carol’s family has been planning her 80
th
birthday party and have decided to keep the date as a special memorial service and family reunion for her on September 12, 2020. The time and location will follow in a formal invitation.
