Brenda Lou Bolen

of Gilbert AZ passed away of natural causes on Friday March 18, 2022, at the age of 70. Brenda was the second child of Orville “Torchy” Bolen and Geraldine “Gerry” Clem Bolen who both preceded her in death. Brenda is survived by her siblings Bruce and (Ellen) Bolen, Brent and (Cindy) Bolen and (Jeff) and Beverly Coffman as well as nine nieces, nephews and seven grand nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind countless uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Brenda spent her early years in Chandler, AZ before the family moved to Buckeye, AZ. She graduated from Buckeye Union High School and attended college in Flagstaff, AZ at NAU where she earned her BS in Education. She started her teaching career in the far west valley in Palo Verde but eventually moved to Gilbert. Brenda joined the Gilbert Unified School District where she spent 25+ years doing what she loved, teaching children.  Kids were her passion and she touched so many young lives through her many years of teaching.

Brenda spent her retirement and last years with family and friends in the Gilbert area.

A Memorial Service is being held on Saturday, April 2

at 10:00 a.m. at Bueler’s Mortuary Chapel, 14 W Hulet Dr, Chandler, AZ 85225 with a luncheon held after.

In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite school or animal rescue, as children and dogs were Brenda’s favorites.
