Our hearts are filled with both sadness and gratitude as we say goodbye to our beloved Beverly Doris Masner, who peacefully left this world on December 28, 2024. Beverly was not just a wife, mother, friend, aunt, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother – she was the heart of the family, our biggest supporter, and the woman who could make anyone feel like they belonged.
Born in autumn of 1932, Beverly brought a world of happiness to her parents, Harry Schmidt and Irene Nellie Farren. She carried that same happiness throughout her life, touching everyone around her. Her and her sister, Jan, held an extraordinary bond - they were best friends, confidantes, and each other’s protectors. Her greatest joy came from her marriage to Joe B. Masner, her loving husband who preceded her in death in 2004. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around their son, Randy Masner, who they lost far too soon in 1980. Her family’s memory remained forever close to Beverly's heart.
Beverly's legacy lives on through her adored granddaughters, Penny Doster and Heather Brewer, who were her everything; her pride, her joy, and the loving support system that gave her strength each and every day. Her face would light up whenever she spoke about her nine great-grandchildren: Zack, Khara, Ethan, Logan, Taylor, Landon, Brody, Gavin, and Riggs. Each one was so precious to her, and she celebrated their unique personalities and achievements in life. Nothing made her happier than having her home filled with the laughter and energy of her growing family. Anyone who visited Beverly's home couldn't help but admire her garden – a passion matched only by her devotion to family. Her yard was a sanctuary for both her flowers and the countless birds that she drew in with feeders and birdbaths. She found endless wonder watching her feathered friends, sharing her enthusiasm with anyone nearby.
To know Beverly was to experience love and kindness in its purest form, brightened by an unexpected wit that could light up any room. She had an extraordinary gift for making ordinary moments memorable, whether through her gentle and loving nature, her funny animated reactions to the smallest occurrences, or her perfectly timed, hilarious comments that would leave everyone in laughter. Her gentle spirit and warm heart made everyone feel at home, and her door was always open.
Beverly, as you reunite with your mother, father, son, and sister, know that your love continues to bloom in our hearts, just like the beautiful flowers in your garden, and your radiance and happiness lives on in the songs of the birds you so cherished. You taught us the true meaning of family, the power of pure kindness, and how to find humor and beauty in life's simple moments. Until we meet again, dear Friend, Aunt, Grandma, and Great-Grandma, you are forever cherished.
