Bernardo Garcia Martinez,

81, of Chandler, AZ was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Apr. 30, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ramona Martinez, and their ten children: Bernardo, Jr., Elia, Mary, Gloria, James, Guadalupe, Ramona, Joe, Rachel, and Johnny. Also surviving are 41 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, as well as brothers, Lionel and Lupe; and sisters Aurora, Olga, and Mary. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria G. Martinez; his father, Guadalupe C. Martinez; three brothers, Juan, Noah, and Roy; and two sisters: Dora and Julie. Nayo was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Funeral services are planned for Mon., May 9, at The Door Christian Center, 585 E. Frye Rd., Chandler, AZ 85225, Visitation begins at 9 am and the service will begin at 10 am. Arrangements by Bueler Chandler Mortuary.
