Barbara Ann Soto

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Soto, who passed away from a brief battle with pneumonia, at the age of 67 on November 6, 2023. She was born on March 9, 1956 to Frank and Rita Soto, who preceded her in death. She is now lovingly reunited with them in heaven.

Barbara was an innocent and beautiful soul who lit up every room she entered. She was known for her sense of humor and love of Elvis. She enjoyed the excitement of visiting casinos. Her laugh was infectious and her love of music and dancing was entertaining. She had many loving nicknames, which include: Ethel, Barbie, Flaca, Love, Bodges and Bubba. 

Due to her caring manner and lighthearted love of life, she was an inspiration to all who knew her. Barbara was adored and admired by many.  In a loving and thoughtful manner, she always prayed for family and friends.  She will forever be close to our heart, always missed and remembered lovingly .

Barbara was survived by her siblings: Betty Romero, Fernando Soto, Jannie Martinez, Sam Soto, Laurie Guerrero and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023. Viewing will be held at Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary,        14 West Hulet Drive, Chandler AZ 85225 from 8 to 10 AM with a rosary service at 9:30 AM. Mass will follow at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church 230 West Galveston Street, Chandler, AZ 85225 at 11 AM. She will be laid to rest at Valley of the Sun mortuary at 12:30 PM.
