Augusta Marie Ratliff
. August 4, 1944-July13, 2020. She was the 12th child of James Bernard and Agnes Helen McGovern in Hawesville, Ky. She moved with her parents to Owensboro when she was 16. She worked for GE, and would meet her husband, Tony Walter Ratliff at a Square Dance. They married two months later on September 23, 1968. They had three daughters while Tony was in the National Guard Army. They traveled to Germany where her first daughter, Norma Jean was born. They moved to Kansas and their second daughter, Nola Marie was born. They moved back to Owensboro, Ky and their third daughter, Christa Toni was born. She worked at Moonlight Inn and was a top Avon Representative. In 1979, she moved with her family to Phoenix, Arizona and worked as Assistant Manager and as a Manager at Circle K, 7 Eleven and Mobil Gas Station. She retired from Circle K in 2005. She lived with Nola and David Crain and family until her passing. She is survived by her three sisters and brother: Martha Hamilton (Charles+), Anne Johnson (Frank+), Rita McGovern and Johnny McGovern (Lee). Her daughters: Norma Jean Ruiz, Nola Marie Crain (David), and Christa Toni Green (Charles). Her grandchildren: Raquel (Braden), David Jr., Joseph, Staci, Samantha, Reyes, and Nickolas. Great grandchildren: Ayannah, Lincoln, Sullivan and Callahan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony, father: James, mother, Agnes, brother, Bernard, sisters Bridget Higdon, (Harold), Ruth Quinn (Wallace), brother Philip (Carolyn+), sisters Sr. Mildred SCN, and Mary Young (James+).
