Ann Ramirez

On Tuesday, December 11, 2018, Ann Ramirez, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at the age of 57.

Ann was born on August 16, 1961 in Phoenix, Arizona to Carl and Mary(Woods)Guenther.  She attended Chandler High School and Mesa Community College, receiving her Associate of Arts Degree.  Ann worked in security for Wackenhut and G4S for 11 years.  On February 14, 2004, she married Manuel Ramirez.  They raised her two sons, Donnie and Jarvis Newton, from her previous marriage to Donnie Newton Jr.

Ann had a passion for horses.  She loved to ride when she was younger and sketch pictures of horses as she got older.  She also loved to travel to the White Mountains, cross-country, and all through the western part of the United States.  She was known for her pleasant smile and her loving ways.

Ann was preceded in death by her father, Carl Guenther, her mother, Mary Guenther-Wilcox, and her son, Donnie Newton. She is survived by her husband Manuel Ramirez, son Jarvis Newton, granddaughter Holly Jo Butterfield, sister Veronica(Charles)Tess, brothers Kurt(Tera), Karl(Kim), Joseph(Laurie), Nicholas(Monica)Guenther, and various nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

A visitation memorial will be held at Bueler’s Chandler Mortuary Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 5 to 8pm. A burial service will be held at St. Francis Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 11 am.
