, 2017 at the age of 95 with her family by her side. Amy was born to parents Henry & Amy Day on Sept 2

, 1921 in Newton, Mass. She grew up the youngest of three. She loved sports (skiing, sledding, bowling), camp and hanging out with her “Chums”. Amy attended Wellesley HS, graduating in 1939. She then attended Mt Ida Jr College, graduating in Secretarial Science in 1941. She spent many years working for the District Nurses. She loved her time with them, expressing many good memories over the years. Amy met her future husband, prior to WWII and married Richard C Airhart on Apr 12

, 1946. She always said she would not marry someone who could not dance! Once married, she gave up the District Nurses moving into their 1rst house in Natick, Mass. They had 2 children, Richard P Airhart & Lise A Moskop. They eventually moved to Wellesley, Mass where they spent 47yrs until ultimately retiring to Chandler, AZ. Amy & Richard were married 68yrs. She loved writing poems, gardening, knitting, animals, chocolate and chasing garage sales. Her daily high points were seeing what her kids were all up too in Facebook! While at a prior Assisted Living facility, she became an avid Bingo player, creating her own wealth in dimes each day!Amy is survived by her son, Rich Airhart, her daughter, Lise Moskop, son-in-law, Allen Moskop, 6 grand children, Alex, Adrienne, Kyle, Douglas, Rhiannon & Patrick and 5 great grandchildren, Dalton, Weston, Harper, Hadleigh & Henley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Airhart, her parents Henry & Amy Day; and her sisters; Marian Gibbs & Elizabeth Lowell.
A memorial to celebrate Amy’s life will be at her Group home on Saturday, Aug 5
