Adela Dominguez

It is with great sadness that the family of Adela Dominguez announces her passing early Monday morning, June 17th, 2019, at the age of 80, in Chandler, AZ.  Adela was born on October 21

st

, 1938 in La Mesa, New Mexico to Epitacio Holguin and Amelia Borunda.  Adela also had 8 siblings.

Adela is lovingly remembered by her children, daughters Bertha (Louis Sr.) Marquez, and Dolores (Pete) Gonzales and son Pedro (Stephanie) Dominguez, Jr. Along with her 8 grandchildren; Louis Marquez Jr., Cecilia Gonzales, Andrew Gonzales, Victor Gonzales, Patrick Gonzales, Kimberly Gonzales, Pedro Dominique Dominguez, and Ariella Dominguez and 3 great-children; Logan Shearrer, Savannah Armstrong, and Damion Marquez.  Adela is also survived by her sisters Jennie Munoz and Dora Borunda, and brother Ramon Borunda.

She is preceded in death by both her beloved parents, loving husband Pedro Dominguez, Sr., daughter Cecilia Dominguez and grandson Anthony Marquez.  In addition to her brothers Enrique Holguin, Augustin Holguin, Ruben Borunda, Alberto Borunda and Federico Borunda.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 28

, 2019 beginning with a rosary at 10:00am, followed by mass at 10:30am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston Street, Chandler, AZ 85225.  Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1562 E Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ 85204, following services.
