Our beloved father, husband, uncle, brother,  nephew, and only son suffered a tragic paramotoring accident in the early morning hours on June 26, 2018, in the desert just south of Gilbert, Arizona. He was born in Mesa, Arizona, the fifth child and only boy to Norris and Fawnette Baldwin on December 15, 1972. He was raised in Taylor until leaving for college at Eastern Arizona State. He then served a two year mission for his church in Rochester, New York. He married his wife, Ruthann Rasband in 1995. He then pursued his dream of becoming a ER physician. He joined the Army where he served for 4 years, achieving the rank of Major, and completed 3 overseas deployments. He loved being a doctor and helping others. He loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and served in numerous ways, including as a Bishop in El Paso, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Ruthann; and children – Jessa & Donovan Heick, Charlye and grandson due Oct 5th; Caleb Norris; Ethan Perry; Tristan Isaac; Eliza; Jared Lincoln; and Seth Grant; His Father Norris Alvin Sr; his mother, Fawnette; and his sisters – Fawne (Rob) Jones; Alma (Haven) Romney; Michelle (John) Reidhead; Claire (Armando) Romero; Kristi (Randy) Olson; Tanya (Jaren) Adams; Rachel (Cy) Platt; and Sharee (Frank) Sanderson. The funeral will be held at 7361 S. Constellation Way Gilbert, Arizona 85298 on Saturday June 30th at 11am with a viewing from 9am to 11am. Interment will be in the Reed Hatch Cemetery in Taylor, Arizona on Monday at 12pm. Please NO Flowers. The Baldwin family requests instead donations be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or to Feed My Starving Children.
