Natalie Grace Killmon

Natalie Grace Killmon of Chandler, AZ graced our lives for 40 years until her untimely passing on March 8th. Born on June 23rd of 1982, to Diane Williford of Farmville, NC and Doil Killmon (Victoria) of Ayden/Morehead City, NC. Natalie was a force of personality to be reckoned with from a very early age. With a rarely unmatched passion for music, she would take charge of the household dancing and singing to songs like La Bamba, relentlessly repeating the same song over again to her heart’s desire and her parents’ dismay. Or, prowling her childhood waterfront neighborhood in Morehead City, NC until passing out on the front porch swing to take a nap.

Natalie’s independent and willful nature combined with her drive & ambition made her remarkably successful in school where she achieved excellent grades throughout her years at J.H. Rose, Class of 2000, and great advancements in ROTC up to Executive Commanding Officer. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Chemical Engineering from N.C. State in 2004. She consistently challenged herself in her career taking on new disciplines and pushing herself to adapt and grow. Her work ethic, desire to succeed, and forceful nature allowed her to become an accomplished Professional Engineer with her long-standing employer of almost 19 years Intel, where she was known to commend others for their communication skills and praise individuals for setting up meetings after 3pm on a Friday, or as early as 7am on a Monday. Her work success allowed her to enjoy the two things she loved most in life: singing and traveling. She was often traveling interstate, cruising, or overseas sharing her musical talents at karaoke with her numerous friends. Natalie was to be wed soon to her partner of 10 years, Evan Hiles of the home, and his daughter Dessa Ash whom she helped raise from an early age.

Natalie left us too soon but is remembered as a fun, fierce personality who lived her life to the fullest, very intelligent, quick to laugh, spirited daughter, a loyal friend, a loving partner, and a beautiful woman with a singing voice that reached your soul. Natalie will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her including her many friends and brother Drew Guajardo, Gilbert, AZ, her 5 cats (Kenya, Nix, Boo Boo (Kiera), Bub Bub (Cheddar), Poo Poo (Pepper) and Siri (deceased). Her Wu to her Tang Fiancé Evan Hiles of the home, and his daughter Dessa Ash. Her parents: Diane Williford, Farmville, NC and Doil Killmon (Victoria), Ayden/Morehead City, NC. Maternal Grandparents: Joseph Claude(deceased) and Grace B. Williford (namesake), Farmville, NC.
