Marcia Ellsworth Metcalf Lambson
passed away at her home in Chandler, AZ on January 31, 2017. She was born on June 14, 1921 and raised in Queen Creek. She moved to Chandler and opened a dress shop, Marcia M’Lee Fashions. She was president of the north Park Plaza Merchant’s Association, a councilwoman for the City of Chandler, President of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce and the Liaison between Williams Field Air Force Base and the City of Chandler. Marcia and her husband, Ray Lambson, served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Baton Rouge, LA.
She is survived by her children, Terry Farnsworth (Evans), Lance Power (Lisa), Ray Metcalf, Jr., (Carole) and M’Lee Lambson (Tim);
as well as 21 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Marcia is predeceased by her parents, Larence and Leona Ellsworth; brothers, Kenneth Ellsworth, Dennis Ellsworth, Carol Ellsworth; sister, Nyra Funk; daughter, Tracy Metcalf; and husbands, Ivan Power, Ray Metcalf, and Ray Lambson.
Services are planned for Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Chandler West Stake Center of the LDS Church, 1950 E. Galveston St., Chandler. Interment will follow at East Resthaven Cemetery in Phoenix.
