Lynne Sandra Weber Greenspan

On Sunday, June 13, 2021, Lynne Sandra Weber Greenspan passed away at the age of 77.

Born in Newark, NJ to Gustave and Edna Weber. She studied the English Language at Shelton & Nyack Missionary Colleges and taught Grammar School in Ringwood NJ until she decided to start a family. Lynne spent time volunteering for the Blind and Pilot Club always wanting to give to, and assist others. She helped to run the family business until her retirement.

Lynne was predeceased by her parents Gustave and Edna, and her siblings Charles and Gustave II. She is survived by her sister Diane and children, Torin, Tamara, and Tyler, and granddaughter Alexis. She is also survived by her husband of 53 years, Fred, whom she married on April 13, 1968. Lynne met her husband Fred, at a wedding where one of her bridesmaids was marrying one of Fred’s friends, so the happiness of weddings carried on.

Once asked what the secret was to a marriage lasting over 50 years, Lynne answered, without hesitation “separate vacations”, which speaks to her sense of humor. She was a wonderful storyteller and would jump at any chance to reminisce and tell her stories. She was an avid reader and consumed as much literature as time would permit. Lynne was a special person with a kind and gentle soul, and as those that knew her would attest, the patience of a saint. She was generous with her time and her love and anyone lucky enough to know her was better for it. She was a great friend to a lot of people and maintained those friendships for decades. Her loss will be felt by many.

The memories that mean the most to us will live forever in our hearts. While we grieve now, those memories bring us inner peace and make it seem like she is still very close. She is loved, missed, and will never be forgotten. Dance in the clouds and soar with the Angels sweet Lynne.

A memorial service has been scheduled for LYNNE. It will be virtual so everyone around the world can participate. After speaking with many of our relatives and friends about what a good date would be, there was such a varied list of suggestions. Some of you can’t make it on a weekday while others have plans on the weekends.
