Lucas “Luke” Costa

passed away September 3, 2021, with his wife by his side.  He was born August 14, 1982, in Danbury, CT, and was thirty-nine years old.

Luke is preceded by his father Donald, his Aunt Robin, and recently, his grandfather Gerald. He is survived by his wife Brenna (Bree), his mom Jerri, and his two brothers, Brett and Kenny. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Luke was an amazing man; he had the most kind and loving heart. He put others before himself and always prioritized his loved ones in life. He was a loyal friend and loved his wife more than anything in this world. His positive attitude rubbed off on everyone around him. Luke made people feel seen and heard. He had such incredible drive that reflected in his work ethic. He gave 110% to everything he did.

Luke was a husband, brother, son, friend, uncle, cousin, protector. He had the greatest sense of humor that would leave everyone crying with laughter. His goofy, playful nature sparked immense joy in those around him, and his smile could have been the Eighth Wonder of the World. He prayed every day, rarely for himself but always for others. He loved a good cup of coffee and a book. As often as he could, he sat on the porch to watch the sunset, or take evening drives around town. Luke truly had a perspective on what was important in this life. He was an angel on Earth. He will be forever missed, and he will live on in us always.
