Lois A. Wolff

Lois Ann Wolff

passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 after complications resulting from Leukemia in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Lois was born in Gillette, Wyoming on July 5, 1973. She graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy May 6, 2000.

She lived in the Phoenix area for the last 16 plus years where she started her clinic, AZ Sports Center Physical Therapy & Pilates.  As a Physical Therapist and Pilates instructor, she touched so many lives, always going above and beyond in all that she did as a healthcare professional, a friend, a sister and an aunt.

She is survived by her mother, Nancy Wolff, sisters Sherry Howard, Chris Luke (Ricky), Alberta “Bertie” Gunter (Darrell), Marie Keener (Kevin) and brothers Robert Wolff, Richard Wolff and Bill Wolff, along with nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and a loving companion. She is preceded in death by her father, William Edward Wolff and grandparents Ton and Mildred Whisler and Henry and Catherine Wolff.

While Lois loved traveling, hiking, rowing, hummingbirds, flowers, sunsets and a nice glass of wine, she deeply loved her small, but big-hearted Chihuahua, Dixie. They had a very special bond and it was rare to see a picture of Lois alone without Dixie in her arms or lap.

Lois lived for the moment, always putting her heart and soul into everything she did and lived by her favorite motto, “Make Today Count”.  Maya Angelou may have said it best – “People will forget what you said.  People will forget what you did.  But people will never forget how you made them feel.”  Whether it was a patient, stranger or a good friend, Lois always made each and every person feel special with her beautiful smile, loving eyes and warm and caring heart.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Desert Botanical Garden, Attention: Tribute Program, 1207 N. Galvin Parkway, Phoenix, AZ 85008 or you can donate online at
